Kriss Koutzarov

Kriss Koutzarov is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in the development and testing of fuel cell technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Greenlight Innovation Corp. since March 2017, Kriss has contributed to the advancement of sophisticated testing and assembly equipment for fuel cells, electrolysers, and batteries. Previously, Kriss held the position of Technical Director at Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd., where involvement in hydrogen research and development led to the anticipated launch of the first fuel cell electric vehicles during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. With a notable prior role as Chief Technology Officer at BREVIS LTD and a history of positions at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and Greenlight Innovation Corp., Kriss has established a robust career supported by dual Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and N.Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Bulgaria.
