Cliona Quillinan

Cliona Quillinan has a diverse range of work experience. Cliona is currently the Head of Compliance at Greenlight Re since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Compliance Manager at MetLife from November 2017 to September 2023. From June 2015 to October 2017, they served as a Compliance Consultant, 2VP at Northern Trust Corporation. Before that, they were involved in insurance claims management at Aviva plc from February 2013 to June 2015. Cliona also worked as a Consultant Legal Professional at LawEd from February 2012 to January 2015. Starting their career, they gained experience as a Trainee Solicitor & Solicitor at Berwick Solicitors Galway & Dublin from May 2009 to January 2012.

Cliona Quillinan's education history includes a B.A. degree in Legal Science and Economics from the University of Galway, completed between 1999 and 2003. Cliona then pursued an LL.B degree in Law from the same university, which they completed in 2004. In 2007 and 2008, Cliona obtained an LL.M degree in Public Law from the University of Galway. Following that, they completed their Solicitor degree in Law from the Law Society of Ireland, between 2009 and 2011. In 2012, Cliona attended the Law Society of Ireland to pursue an In House Legal Officer Course. Cliona then completed a Certificate and Diploma in Compliance from The Institute of Banking, ACOI from 2014 to 2015. Lastly, in 2017 and 2018, Cliona obtained a Certificate in Data Protection from the Law Society of Ireland.
