Yesenia Perez is currently the Climate Equity Program Manager at The Greenlining Institute, where the focus is on advancing California's climate resilience and clean mobility policies to benefit communities of color. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Associate at MIG, where support was provided for equity-centered strategic planning and community engagement projects. Yesenia also interned at The Greenlining Institute as an Environmental Equity Intern, conducted research as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley's Energy and Environmental Policy Lab, and participated in the Nonprofit Leadership Fellowship at SEI, developing climate equity curriculum and grant writing. Yesenia holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Environmental Studies and Policy, a minor in Public Policy, and has completed a minor in Global Public Health at UC Berkeley, along with an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College.
