Technical Solutions Architect at Greensea

David Pearson has an extensive work experience in various technical roles related to marine technology, robotics, and engineering. David currently holds the position of Technical Solutions Architect at Greensea Systems, Inc., where they focus on driving growth and delivering strategic technical solutions for customer applications. David collaborates with stakeholders to match technical solutions with business opportunities and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the contract lifecycle. Prior to this role, they served as a Program Manager - Autonomous Systems, leading a team of software developers and engineers to deliver complex software systems to customers while staying within budget and meeting customer expectations.

Before joining Greensea Systems, Inc., David worked as a Principal Engineer at Terradepth, where they led the development of the Terradepth AxV prototype, a Diesel-Electric Large displacement Unmanned Marine Submersible System. David also served as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Greensea Systems, Inc.

David has a strong background in ocean engineering and research. David holds a Master's Degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and has conducted research in modeling and simulations of hydrodynamic systems with a focus on control and logic design for autonomous marine vehicles. David has also worked as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Florida Atlantic University.

Additionally, David has diverse work experience outside of the marine technology field. David has served as an Ocean Engineer at Autonomous Surface Vehicles, LLC (ASV), providing engineering support to the company and its customers. David has also worked as a College Intern at Aerospace Technologies Group and an Assistant Electrician at TCE Tech/Tri-City Electric. Furthermore, David has experience in sales, having worked as a Senior Sales Representative at Pacific Sunwear.

In addition to their professional experience, David holds a position as an Executive Board Member - NE section at the Marine Technology Society.

David Pearson attended Florida Atlantic University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. David then pursued further education at the same institution from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Ocean Systems Engineering. Aside from their formal education, David Pearson has obtained various certifications, including CMarTech from the Marine Technology Society in December 2020, IADC RIGPASS from PEC Safety in November 2014, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) 5700 Including HUET and EBS from OPITO in November 2014, Competent Rigger API RP 2D from Global Training & Environmental in November 2014, H2S 30 CFR 250 from Global Training & Environmental in November 2014, HAZWOPER Level 1 from Global Training & Environmental in November 2014, and OSHA Refresher from Global Training & Environmental in November 2014.
