Zahid Salman

Zahid Salman is the President & CEO at Green Shield Canada Inc. Zahid was previously the Executive Vice President at Aon Consulting from November 1993 to June 2008, where they were responsible for leading all business units in Ontario/Western Canada and had national responsibility for Strategic Planning and IT. Prior to that, they were with Morneau Shepell from June 2008 to July 2018, where they held various positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of Morneau Shepell Asset & Risk Management, President of Absence Management Solutions, Chief Innovation Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer, Ontario/Western Canada.

Zahid Salman has a B.Sc. (Hon) in Actuarial Science from Western University, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Zahid has also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School, the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors, and the Aon Global Executive Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
