Mitch Schafer

Mitch Schafer has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Mitch is currently employed at GreenStone Farm Credit Services, where they hold the position of VP of Agribusiness Lending starting from September 2022. Prior to this role, Mitch served as the VP of Lending, Traditional from March 2021 to September 2022. Before their tenure as a Vice President, they held the position of Sr. Financial Services Officer from March 2019 to March 2021 and Financial Services Officer from April 2015 to March 2019. Mitch began their career at GreenStone Farm Credit Services as a Credit Analyst from May 2014 to April 2015.

Prior to joining GreenStone Farm Credit Services, Mitch worked at Mercantile Bank of Michigan beginning in September 2009. During their time at Mercantile Bank, they held the position of Officer, Senior Commercial Credit Analyst from September 2009 to May 2014.

Mitch Schafer attended Grand Valley State University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Business Economics.
