Yardley Farquharson

Yardley Farquharson is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in administration and instruction. Currently serving as the Chief Academic Officer for Greensville County Public Schools since January 2020, responsibilities include overseeing academic programs and educational policies. Previously held the position of Assistant Superintendent of Instruction at Dinwiddie County Public Schools from August 2014 to January 2020, and served as Director of Assessment & Student Services. Yardley has also been a Principal at both Fluvanna County Public Schools and Petersburg City Public Schools, and gained teaching experience at Richmond Public Schools and Rochester Public School District. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Virginia State University, a Master of Science from Buffalo State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, focusing on educational leadership and child development.
