Samuel Raj

Samuel Raj has over 29 years of work experience in various roles in the energy industry. Samuel is currently working as a Senior Operations Manager at Greenville LNG since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations and Maintenance Lead at Enerflex Ltd. from July 2020 to October 2021.

From 2014 to 2020, Samuel worked at Petroleum Development Oman, where they held multiple roles. Samuel started as a Process Optimization Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Process Optimization Engineer. Samuel'sresponsibilities included optimizing plant operations, supporting maintenance activities, and training process optimization engineers.

Before their role at Petroleum Development Oman, Samuel worked as a Process Engineer Operations Support at PDO- Petroleum Development of Oman from April 2010 to May 2014. Samuel also has experience working as a Process Commissioning/Startup Specialist at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd under Chevron Nigeria from March 2009 to April 2010.

Prior to that, Samuel worked at Oman LNG LLC/Shell from October 2005 to March 2009 as an Operation Process Engineer and Shift Superintendent. Samuel was previously a Day Process Support Supervisor at the same company from October 2004 to September 2005.

Samuel Raj began their career at Qatar Gas as a DCS LNG Panel Operator from March 1996 to March 1999. Samuel also worked as a DCS Process Panel Specialist at PETRONAS from September 1992 to February 1996.

Samuel Raj attended Sacred Heart College, Tirupatur, Madras University from 1977 to 1978 where they completed a Pre University Course with a field of study in M P C. Samuel then went on to Annamalai University from 1978 to 1983 for their B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering. From 1983 to 1985, they pursued a M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering at Annamalai University. Finally, in 2002 to 2004, Samuel Raj attended Annamalai University again to obtain their MBA degree in Business Administration.
