Dipen Nathwani

Dipen Nathwani has a diverse work experience in the sports and education field. Dipen has worked as a Head of PE at Greenwood Academies Trust since 2023. Prior to this, they were a Director at The Active Sports School starting from 2013. Dipen has also worked as a Moderator at OCR, where they were responsible for checking coursework and marking exams from 2021 to 2023. Dipen served as a Council Member at Braunstone Town Council, contributing to community development initiatives from 2020 to 2023. Dipen has also worked as a Sports Lecturer at Leicester College, teaching BTEC Sport level qualifications and providing guidance to new teachers. Dipen served as the Head of Physical Education at Madani High School, overseeing the curriculum and assessments for Key Stage 3 and 4. Dipen has previous experience as a Physical Education Teacher at Longfield Academy and The Manor Academy, teaching a variety of subjects and organizing external sports activities. Dipen began their career as a Fitness Instructor at De Montfort University, focusing on improving performance through fitness training.

Dipen Nathwani obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sport Science from Loughborough University from 2006 to 2009. Dipen then pursued further education at Nottingham Trent University, where they completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Education from 2014 to 2015. Recently, in 2022 to 2023, Dipen enrolled at the University of Buckingham to pursue a Master of Education (MEd) degree with a focus on Education.
