Becky Vealey serves as the Vice President of Revenue Generation at Greenwood Hospitality Group. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the sales, revenue management and marketing initiatives for the portfolio. She and her team are responsible for sales training, developing strategic plans, brand relations, e-commerce, implementing standards and procedures, forecasting, budgeting, market development and pre-opening functions.
Ms. Vealey has over 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. She spent 20 years with John Q. Hammons hotels where she served in various front office and sales roles, Director of Catering, Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager and Regional Director of Sales. Ms. Vealey has experience working with Marriott, Hilton and IHG hotels brands. As a Director of Sales and Marketing, she was responsible for the opening of two hotels. She has won various professional and community awards throughout her career including the John Q. Hammons Leadership Excellence Award and Director of Sales of the Year for Embassy Suites.
Ms. Vealey has a degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Travel Industry Planning and Development. She is also involved in the community and a member of HSMAI.
