Jeff Spence

Jeff Spence serves as the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing for Greenwood Hospitality Group. In this capacity, he oversees the strategic sales processes and productivity of ten properties in the portfolio while providing support and direction over revenue generating initiatives.

Jeff has close to 30 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. While the majority of his experience has been within the sales and marketing discipline, he has held roles as General Manager, Food and Beverage Director and a state tourism manager. Most recently in his career, Jeff has served as a Regional Director of Sales with Schulte Hospitality Group and John Q. Hammons Hotels. He has familiarity working with Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Independent branded hotels.

Jeff earned a degree in Psychology from Truman State University. He is an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope and participates with local civic and non-profit groups. He has served on boards for the Iowa Lodging Assn, Travel Federation of Iowa, Historic Hotels of America and is a Past President of the Heartland Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.
