Giovanni Glioti

Giovanni Glioti has a strong background in quality assurance and management. Giovanni has held several roles in different companies throughout their career. Giovanni started their career as an Agronomist at Afaconsulting in 2007. Giovanni then worked as the President of Cooperativa Aratro servizi in agricoltura, where they provided quality certification and consultancy services for public and private companies. Giovanni worked as a consultant at Pronexus and as an Agronomist at the Comune di Locri. In 2010, they joined Sidel Italia as a Technical Certification Manager and Coordinator of territorial units. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Team Leader for quality and logistics at Eurogroup Italia, overseeing quality control in the GDO ortofrutta platforms. Giovanni then worked as the Head of the Quality Department at Univeg trade Italia, where they managed complaints, sustainability projects, quality documents, and certifications. Giovanni continued their career at Greenyard as the Head of Quality Department, responsible for quality management within the Italian branch, including complaint management, sustainability projects, and certification verification. Currently, they hold the role of Quality Assurance Manager at Op green farmers group.

Giovanni Glioti's education history includes a degree in Scienze e Tecnologie Agrarie from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, obtained from 2000 to 2006. Giovanni also completed a Alta Formazione degree in Economia del Turismo e dello Sviluppo Territoriale Sostenibile from Università Bocconi in 2010. In 2008, Giovanni obtained an Attestato di Qualifica Professionale in Esperto in Pianificazione Territoriale Sostenibile from Isituto di Studi, Ricerche e Formazione per lo Sviluppo delle Regioni Meridionali. Giovanni graduated from Liceo Scientifico Zaleuco with Maturità Scientifica from 1995 to 2000. Giovanni also obtained a Laurea in Scienze e Tecnologie Agrarie with a specialization in Progettazione e Gestione delle Risorse Agroterritoriali from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Additionally, they hold multiple certifications related to food, sustainability, biocontrol, and agriculture obtained from various institutions.
