Wim Oversteyns

Wim Oversteyns has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Wim started their career at Philips as an Assistant Financial Controller, where they focused on reducing costs and implementing value-based management programs. Wim then worked at BCcomponents as a Financial Controller, overseeing the management control cycle and treasury management of manufacturing units. After that, they joined Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. as a Division Controller, where they managed worldwide activities of the Sfernice Division, including strategy planning, reporting, and performance management. Wim then moved on to Heraeus as a Corporate Analysis Controller and Regional Controller, overseeing the management control cycle of Electro Nite's worldwide activities and implementing SAP CO templates. Wim later joined Unilin Group / Mohawk Industries Inc as a Group Controller, overseeing the management control cycle of worldwide activities, including planning, reporting, and M&A activity. Wim also worked at Balta Group as a Group Controller, A. Schulman, Inc. as a Financial Planning & Analysis Director EMEA ai*, and Alliance Laundry Systems as an International Finance Director, leading finance change and business support. Currently, they serve as a Finance Director at Greenyard, representing Pelecrispus, a global market leader of fresh, frozen, and prepared fruits & vegetables, flowers, and plants.

Wim Oversteyns completed a Master (class) in Controllership and became a Chartered Controller from Vlerick Business School in 2001. Wim also pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Fiscal Sciences from the University of Antwerp in 1996. In 1995, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Economics with an Accounting Major from Transnationale Universiteit Limburg Diepenbeek. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate for proficiency in "English for Business" from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1994. Wim Oversteyns also accomplished the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 1991.
