With an innate value for family, Jack spent multiple years as a commercial property underwriter for Chubb Insurance, preparing himself to work for the family firm. Business and personal relationships connected him to the Appel Family and G&A over 30 years ago, and a partnership was born that was instrumental in bringing G&A to the place it is today. Jack’s vast experience includes all types of businesses, from major league sports teams to municipalities to commercial real estate developments to firms providing professional services. He provides in-depth contractual review to a level you cannot find elsewhere and takes great care in putting together the right team of colleagues to handle each of his clients’ diverse and unique set of demands. Regardless of the type of business, Jack’s passion is providing top-notch service for his clients, and it has always been a bonus that he loves what he does.

Jack’s love of running has seen him hit the pavement both for fun and in completing multiple Chicago marathons. He also enjoys playing golf, practicing racket sports, hiking, reading and traveling with his family.
