Joe Michaud has a strong background in manufacturing and leadership. Joe started their career in 1987 as an Officer in the US Army, where they served in various engineering units. In 1992, they joined The Newark Group, where they held several roles including Supervisor, Superintendent, Plant Manager, and General Manager across multiple mills. Joe later became the Vice President and General Manager, overseeing six recycled paperboard mills and handling duties such as negotiations, capital investment, and business development. In 2015, they joined Caraustar as the General Manager of Uncoated Recycled Boxboard Mills. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Manufacturing, East Region at Greif, Inc., a position they have held since 2019.
Joe Michaud attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
