Jérôme Levet is an experienced energy access professional with a strong focus on renewable energy projects in Africa. At GRET since September 2020, Jérôme leads the YELEEN solar minigrids study, designed to implement 100 solar minigrids across the country. Previous roles include monitoring the Urgence Electricité Mopti project and managing various energy access initiatives in Burkina Faso, including the SUNREF West Africa program, which promotes renewable energy investments. Academic credentials include an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Environmental Engineering from Grenoble INP and a Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. With a diverse background in project management and technical assistance across multiple countries, Jérôme has significantly contributed to the development of sustainable energy solutions.
