David C. Wells

David C. Wells, Jr., CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Greycourt & Co., Inc. since September 2023 and has extensive governance experience as a board member for various private companies, including roles as Chair of the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee for a Midwest Private Trust Company. David founded Family Capital Strategy in 2019, focusing on creating thriving ecosystems for legacy-focused families, and previously held leadership positions at Woodmont Investment Counsel, LLC, and Hanson Wells Partners. With a background in equity research and consulting from firms such as Thompson Research Group and Avondale Partners, David has developed significant expertise in consumer and industrial sectors. David holds a BS in Business from Wake Forest University and completed the Governing Family Enterprises Executive Education Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
