Marc Hertz

Marc Hertz has had a distinguished career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Marc currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GRI Bio, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for inflammatory, fibrotic, and autoimmune diseases. Prior to GRI Bio, Marc held various leadership roles, including Chairman of Multimeric Biotherapeutics and Managing Director of Bird Rock Biotech Consultancy, where they provided services for the life sciences industry. Marc also served as the CEO of Pharmexa Inc. and held key positions at Pharmexa A/S and the National Jewish Medical and Research Center. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in biotech R&D, business development, and executive leadership.

Marc Hertz attended Bowdoin College from 1988 to 1991 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Marc then pursued further education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 1993 to 1998 and earned a Ph.D. in Immunology.
