Alexey Vasilyev

Alexey Vasilyev has extensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance (QA). Alexey started their career as a Senior Engineer at Baltic State Technical University in 2004, where they provided the learning process in computer classes and created test students' solutions. In 2005, they joined Quest Software as a QC Project Leader, a role they held until 2013. From 2012 to 2016, Alexey worked at Dell as a QC Manager. In 2015, they joined Grid Dynamics as a Senior QA Engineer, responsible for QA automation for US online retailers. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Staff QA Automation Engineer, where they drove the test automation process, cross-location engineering management, and project management for a large e-commerce platform migration to microservices. Currently, they hold the position of Principal QA Engineer at Grid Dynamics.

Alexey Vasilyev obtained a Master's of Physics degree in Computational Physics from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2005. Prior to that, they attended School 138 in Saint-Petersburg from 1988 to 1998.
