Matthias Buechs

Matthias Buechs has over 30 years of experience in the corporate world. Matthias began their career in 1990 as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Germany. In 1993, they moved to Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a Manager of M&A/Business Development. In 1996, they became the COO of RTL DISNEY Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG and in 2007 they were appointed as the Managing Director Online/Mobile at RTL Interactive GmbH. In 2017, they became the Owner of plant.B | Digital Transformation and a Partner at s7-Plugin, where they specialized in digitalisation. Matthias also served as a Member of the Advisory Board at MEHRWERK GmbH in 2018 and as an Interim CFO at GRID esports in 2019. In the same year, they became a Senior Advisor at FastBill. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as a Financial Advisor at Fractal.

Matthias Buechs completed their Dipl. Kfm at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management from 1986 to 1989. Matthias then went on to obtain their MBA from INSEAD in 1992-1993. Finally, they attended Harvard Business School in 2013 for Executive Education.
