Romet Vinkel

Romet Vinkel has a long history of working in the esports industry. In 2018, they joined GRID esports as the Head of Delivery and Operational Lead & Product Owner. Prior to this, they worked at Genius Sports from 2007-2018 in various roles. These roles included Esports Desk Manager, Esports Senior Trader, US Sports Product Supervisor, Event Team Operator, and Football Analyst. As Esports Desk Manager, their key responsibilities included planning and organizing departments work, both Pre-Match and In-Play, launching new procedures and managing existing ones, and executing product targets and goals. As Esports Senior Trader, their main responsibilities included supervising and trading Pre-Match and Live prices with full accountability for odds compiling and liability management, being a market leading odds compiler for various esports with excellent margins, and analyzing product and recommending improvements if required. As US Sports Product Supervisor, their main responsibilities included supervising Pre-Match and Live prices, managing and training departments personnel, and risk management, responsible for monitoring prices.

Romet Vinkel attended the Tallinn University of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they studied International Relations and Affairs.
