Gregor Hoefter is the founder of GridDuck, a company focused on balancing the electricity grid and promoting smarter, greener energy. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager, Product Strategy at Deutsche Telekom (UK) where they developed low-cost products for fast deployment in Eastern Europe and led activities to benefit from the rise of app stores. Gregor also served as the Head of Marketing, UK at Avenir Telecom where they overhauled marketing activities and coached a team to become high performers. Additionally, Gregor has held positions at BlackBerry, Vodafone, Real TSP, Milli Brasilli, Marketing & Strategy, IconZest, and Mellon Global, where they gained experience in various roles including channel marketing, consulting, and business analysis.
Gregor Hoefter completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy & Economics from UCL from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and Operations from INSEAD from 1999 to 2000. Prior to their university education, Gregor completed their Matura A from Stiftschule Einsiedeln between 1985 and 1992. Gregor also holds a certification as a Representative in Securities and Financial Derivatives from the Financial Conduct Authority, which they obtained in December 1997.
