Aleksandr Polovtsev

Aleksandr Polovtsev has a strong background in software engineering, with experience at multiple companies. Aleksandr is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at GridGain Systems since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Genestack from May 2015 to September 2020. Before joining Genestack, they had a role as a Full Stack Engineer at Digitek Labs from October 2012 to May 2015, where they worked on various independent projects, including the development of an enterprise information system using the Django framework and a dynamic analysis tool using the Clang API.

Aleksandr Polovtsev completed their education at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. Aleksandr obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering, which they pursued from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Aleksandr Polovtsev also earned several certifications. In November 2022, they obtained a certification as a speaker from GridGain Systems at the Ignite Summit. Prior to that, they completed several online courses on Coursera. In March 2016, they earned a certification in "Introduction to Machine Learning". In June 2015, they completed the course "Finding Hidden Messages in DNA (Bioinformatics I)" and in May 2015, they completed the course "Web Application Architectures". In December 2014, they completed the course "Functional Programming Principles in Scala". Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Machine Learning" in September 2014, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 2" in October 2013, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" in August 2013, and "Programming Languages" in March 2013.
