Sandor Liive

Sandor Liive has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Sandor co-founded Gridio in 2015 and served as a member of the management board. In 2019, they co-founded Fermi Energia and became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In 2020, they joined RB Rail AS | Rail Baltica as a member of the Supervisory Board and later became the Chairman in 2021.

Prior to these roles, Liive had a long career at Eesti Energia AS, starting as the CFO in 1998 and later becoming the CEO. During their tenure, they transformed the company into an international energy company focused on oil shale to energy. Sandor also improved the company's financial performance, increasing revenue and EBITDA, and created significant value for the owner.

Before joining Eesti Energia AS, Liive worked as the CFO at Tallinna Sadam AS (Port of Tallinn), where they played a crucial role in the company's financial direction and its transformation into one of the biggest and fastest growing ports in the Baltic Sea region. Sandor also held various roles at Tallinna Sadam AS and Uus Maa Real Estate Agency earlier in their career.

Sandor Liive's education history includes various academic achievements. In 1990, they began studying at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, specializing in the Faculty of Chemistry. Sandor continued their studies there until 1992. In 1993, they returned to TalTech and pursued a master's degree in the Faculty of Economics, which they completed in 1997.

In 2007, Liive attended INSEAD, where they participated in the Advanced Management Programme. This program provided him with an opportunity to enhance their management and leadership skills.

Lastly, in 2012, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business. During their time there, they completed the Executive Program in Leadership, further developing their expertise in leadership practices.
