Lucas Orts

Lucas Orts is an accomplished ML Engineer at Gridmatic since October 2022, with prior experience as a Research Assistant in various prestigious labs including the Moore Lab and Neural Prosthetic Systems Lab, where Lucas contributed to real-time decoding of cognitive processes through brain-machine interfacing. Additional experience includes an earlier role at Gridmatic as an AI Researcher and work at the Brain Interfacing Lab focusing on epileptic seizure detection through EEG signals processing. Lucas also assisted in projects at the Stanford Vision and Learning Lab, working on the development of the Jackrabbot self-navigating delivery robot. Lucas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in AI from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
