Remofilwe Ngakane

Remofilwe Ngakane is an experienced Treasury Specialist with a focus on Operational Risk at Grindrod Bank since March 2021. Previously, Remofilwe served as a Treasury Dealer and a Junior Treasury Dealer at Grindrod Bank Limited from February 2016 to March 2021. Responsibilities include cash and liquid asset management, executing interbank deals, managing money market deals and interest rate swaps, processing deal tickets, client and interbank liaison, and treasury bill processing and settlement. Educational qualifications include a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Honours in Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance from the University of Pretoria, complemented by a secondary education at Potchefstroom High School for Girls.
