Rafael Amorim has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. In 2012, they started working as a Junior Researcher at Razzo Ltda. Rafael then joined Portier Cosméticos in 2014 as a Technical Responsible, where they worked until 2016. In 2018, they joined the Secretaria de Estado da Cultura de São Paulo as part of the Transportation Department and stayed until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Rafael worked at Prefeitura de São Paulo, specifically in the Programa Leve Leite. In 2021, they became a RelGov Intern at Quicko | MaaS Global and later transitioned to the role of Policy Analyst. Currently, they work at Gringo as a Public Affairs Analyst, starting in October 2022.
Rafael Amorim's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Management from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), which they pursued from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate in Chemistry at the Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul from 2010 to 2014. Rafael then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy Management at USP from 2022 to 2024.
In addition to their formal education, Rafael also obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed a certification in Urban Geography from the Universidade Estadual do Maranhão. In July 2020, they obtained a certification in "Decifrando o Direito à Cidade" from Pólis - Assessoria, Formação e Estudos em Políticas Sociais. Furthermore, in November 2019, they completed a certification in QGIS (Mapping and Territorialization) from the City Hall of São Paulo.
