Valerija Liege

Valerija Liege, CFA, serves as a Global Executive Committee Member at Oaklins since January 2020, where strategy development for the organization is led to meet client needs and market dynamics. As Partner at Oaklins Baltics since 2009, Valerija leads M&A transactions and financial restructuring. In addition to roles at Groglass and ALTUM, Valerija has been a Supervisory Board Member for various organizations, including ISR - International School of Riga and SAKRET Baltic, focusing on strategic planning and financial turnaround efforts. Valerija's earlier experience includes being a Managing Director for Behrens Corporate Finance, where M&A transactions in the Baltics and CEE were executed. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, among other professional training.
