Rocky S.

Rocky S. has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in quality engineering and operations. Rocky started their career at Handspring Inc., where they spearheaded the development of quality control and supply base engineering functions. Rocky then moved on to Sanmina-Sci as a Sr. Quality Engineering Manager, championing ISO quality initiatives and mentoring quality engineers. At VNUS Medical Technologies II Inc, they served as a Quality Manager, implementing ideas for quality improvement and cost reduction.

Rocky later joined Riverbed Technology as a Sr. Manager - Supply Base Engineering - Tech Ops, where they conducted supplier audits and used quality tools to eliminate product quality detractors. Rocky then transitioned to Tintri, initially as an individual contributor Quality Engineer and later as Director of Operations Engineering. During their time at Tintri, they identified the vision for an Operations Engineering team and staffed accordingly.

In 2018, Rocky joined Cohesity as a Sr. Manager Operations Quality, managing and developing the Quality Engineering team and collaborating with key stakeholders to establish key Quality measurements. Rocky briefly worked at Neato Robotics as a Sr. Manager Operations Engineering/Quality before returning to Tintri as Director - NPI, Quality, MFG/Test Eng. In this role, they worked alongside senior-level management to direct and manage quality projects and activities.

Most recently, Rocky joined Groove Life as a Senior Manager Quality Engineering, where they are responsible for implementing and introducing quality philosophy, structure, and control into the company and its supply base.

Rocky S. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Additionally, Rocky has an Associate's degree in General Studies from West Valley College.
