Substitute Teacher/ Student Teacher at GROSSMONT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Mary Sparks is an experienced educator and project designer with a strong background in teaching and design. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher and Student Teacher for the San Diego Unified School District and Grossmont Union High School District since 2021, Mary Sparks has effectively managed classrooms and adhered to lesson plans to create engaging learning experiences. Prior to their teaching roles, Mary Sparks worked as a Project Designer at IGroup Design, where collaboration on construction documents and management of architectural teams were key responsibilities. Additionally, experience as an Administrative Assistant/Interior Design Support at JCJ Architecture involved coordinating activities between architects and subcontractors while providing excellent customer service. Mary Sparks holds a Single Subject Teaching Credential, along with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and an Associate's degree in Transfer Studies, all from San Diego State University and San Diego Mesa College.
