Julia Backes

Julia Backes has worked at multiple companies in various roles. Julia began their career at Taylor Excavating as an Accounting Intern in December 2015 and continued until January 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Portfolio Services Intern at PPM America, Inc. from May to August. Julia then interned again at PPM America, Inc. in 2017 as a Marketing and Communications Intern from May to August. Since 2018, they have been employed at GCM Grosvenor. Julia started as a Client Marketing Analyst in July 2018 and transitioned to the role of Client Marketing Associate in April 2021. Julia continues to work at GCM Grosvenor in this role.

Julia Backes obtained their Bachelor's Degree from The University of Alabama in 2018. During their time at the university from 2014 to 2018, they majored in Marketing and Management, with a minor in Computer Tech and Applications. In addition, they participated in a study abroad program at John Cabot University from 2016 to 2017.
