Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Stephen began their career as the Group Leader of Transaction Services Midlands at PwC from July 2007 to September 2010, where they successfully led due diligence projects and contributed to the successful IPO of SuperGroup. In 2010, they joined Superdry as the Group Finance Manager, responsible for the Group consolidation, management accounts, statutory accounts, and IFRS conversion. During their time at Superdry, they introduced significant control improvements and established a commercial finance team to deliver insightful analysis. From 2013 to 2016, Stephen served as the Head of Forecasting, Planning and Reporting at Superdry, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Stephen then took on the role of Head of Finance and Procurement, where they led strategic initiatives to change cost behaviors and drive cost savings. In 2017, Stephen became the Group CFO at both Ground Control and Wireless Innovation, where they continue to excel in their role.

Stephen Smith attended Tewkesbury School from 1988 to 1995. From 1995 to 1998, they pursued a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree at the University of Birmingham.
