Antoine Chereau

Antoine Chereau is a prominent political figure and leader in the Pays de la Loire region, serving as the 1er Vice-Président of the Conseil Régional des Pays de la Loire since 2017. Throughout a distinguished career, Antoine has held multiple leadership roles, including President of Terres de Montaigu since 2001 and President of the Centre Hospitalier Départemental de la Vendée since 2003. Additionally, Antoine has been President of the Fédération Hospitalière Régionale of Pays de la Loire since December 2019 and Vice-President in charge of mobilities at Intercommunalités de France since 2021. In the cultural sector, Antoine has presided over the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire since January 2016. Antoine served as Mayor of Montaigu from 2001 to 2019 and briefly held the same position in Montaigu-Vendée from January 2019 to May 2020. Antoine's early career includes a role as Attaché parlementaire at the European Parliament from February 1999 to August 2004. Antoine has a background in education from Université catholique de Louvain.
