Rocío Vázquez

Rockie C. is a Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, where Rockie directs multidisciplinary project teams and facilitates global collaborations in clinical manufacturing of biologics. Previously, Rockie held the position of Senior Scientist, Program Lead at CareDx, Inc. from June 2021 to March 2023, leading the development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics and contributing to peer-reviewed research in biomarker discovery. Prior to that, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist at Senti Biosciences, providing technical leadership in gene therapy projects. Rockie's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA and an Intern Analyst at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.
