Joaquín Ángel Gómez León

Joaquín Ángel Gómez León has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business development and commercial management. JOAQUÍN ÁNGEL started their career in 2002 as the Director of machinery park at MOPYCSA. JOAQUÍN ÁNGEL then worked as a Sales Engineer at Máquinas espumadoras Cannon española in 2004. From 2005 to 2009, they served as the Commercial & Marketing Manager for Spain and Portugal at EDF Fenice Iberica. In 2009, they joined HEYMO Ingeniería, S.A. as a Commercial Energy Manager. Later, they worked at Valoriza Energía as a Commercial Manager from 2010 to 2012. JOAQUÍN ÁNGEL then joined Abengoa, where they held several positions, including Business Development Director in Western Europe and former CIS countries, as well as the Power Commercial Manager of the Industrial Plants Division. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Business Development Director at Ingeteam Power Plants. Currently, they are the Business Development Director - Biomass, WtE, Cogeneration & EPC at EMPRESARIOS AGRUPADOS - GHESA, a position they have held since 2016.

Joaquín Ángel Gómez León is currently pursuing an Executive MBA degree from EAE Business School, expected to be completed in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a degree in Industrial Project Management and Business Administration, specifically an Ingeniero Superior Industrial degree, from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
