Chris Baldwin began their work experience in 1998 as a Retail Accounts Co-ordinator at McDonald's Restaurants Ltd. Chris then worked as an Accounts Payable Officer at Merrill Lynch HSBC Australia Pty Ltd. From there, Chris worked as a Management Accountant at Corporate Claims International and as a Group Management Accountant at Elision Group Ltd. In 2005, they became the Finance Director & Company Secretary at Entara Ltd. Chris then moved on to become the Group Financial Controller, Director & Company Secretary at Parthenon Media Group Ltd. Chris later became the Financial Controller - Commercial Finance at Sky Vision at Sky Plc, where they played a key role in strategic evaluation and due diligence. Chris then joined GroupM Entertainment Ltd as the Global Finance Director, focusing on developing and executing the role out of Motion Content Group globally. Currently, they serve as the Global Finance & Commercial Director at GroupM Motion Entertainment. In this role, they are responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision of Motion Content Group.
Chris Baldwin completed their education at various institutions over the years. Chris attended SS J Fisher and T Moore RC High School, Colne from 1989 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued A Levels at Nelson & Colne College from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they obtained a BA Hons degree in Business Studies from Birmingham City University, completing it in the years 1996 to 2000.
In addition to these academic qualifications, Chris also obtained several certifications. In 2001, they received a Diploma of Lientiateship in Business Studies from City & Guilds. Chris further enhanced their skills by obtaining an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from CIMA in 2004. Continuing their professional development, they acquired the Leadership Excellence certification from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in 2013 and the Presentation & Impact Skills certification from RADA Enterprises Ltd in 2015.
