Meltem Akman

Meltem Akman is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in performance marketing and social media management. Currently serving as the Head of Performance Marketing at GroupM Türkiye since December 2021, Meltem has previously held key roles such as Performance Marketing Director at Arena Media TR and Sparkle Medya. With a robust background at GroupM Türkiye as a Social Media Marketing Manager and significant leadership experience as COO at MadWords, Meltem has successfully worked with prominent clients including PSA Group, Sabancı Holding, Adidas, and Shell. Earlier in the career, Meltem contributed as a Facebook Account Director at Dijital Buro Istanbul and began in customer service roles at Eylu Tekstil and the British Council. Meltem Akman holds a degree in Documentation and Information from Istanbul University.
