Emily Rines

Emily Rines, MPH, MCHES has a strong background in public health and community impact. Emily started their career in 1998 as a Tobacco Program Assistant at the South Carolina Department of Health. Emily then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina while also completing their Master of Public Health degree. In 2001, Emily became the Director at the University of New England. Emily held this position until 2008 when they transitioned to the United Way of Greater Portland with roles including Let's Go! Director and Community Impact Director, Health. In 2022, Emily joined Groups Recover Together as the Maine State Director. In 2023, they were promoted to the Director of Operations. Emily's experience showcases their commitment to health and community, as well as their ability to lead and drive impact.

Emily Rines, MPH, MCHES, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 1998. Emily then went on to earn their Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of South Carolina between 1998 and 2000. Emily also holds the certification of MCHES from NCHEC, although the specific date of attainment is unknown.
