Eric Eisele

Eric Eisele has a long and varied career in the fields of greenhouses, indoor farms, and industrial IoT. Eric began their career in 2006 as an Intern Chemist at Cognis, which was later acquired by BASF. In 2007, they moved to DuPont Displays as an Associate Investigator, where they developed and tested proprietary OLED purification equipment. In 2008, they co-founded Summalux Technologies, where they obtained the first patents for adaptive interior lighting controls to regulate the circadian rhythm in humans. In 2010, they became a Developer at KieranTimberlake, an ISO 9001:2008 certified architecture and research firm in Philadelphia. In 2017, they became the CEO of GrowFlux, a data and automation platform that modernizes greenhouses and indoor farms. Eric also became the Principal of Aether Connectivity, which offers high reliability wireless connectivity solutions for the Industrial IoT. In 2018, they became the Chairperson of the Greenhouse Lighting and Systems Engineering (GLASE) consortium, which was created between Cornell University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to develop, transfer, and implement energy efficient technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of crop production in greenhouses and indoor farms.

Eric Eisele obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Drexel University in 2009. In 2013, they earned a LEED AP BD+C certification from the USGBC.
