Grant Stromgren

Grant Stromgren has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the software and technology industry. Grant is currently serving as the Technical Lead at Grow Progress, a startup offering a SaaS platform with data products that enhance messaging effectiveness for campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy groups. In this role, they spearheaded a major project initiative, improved the DevOps process, optimized SaaS speed and load times, contributed across multiple repositories, and mentored other engineers.

Prior to this, Grant was the Founder of Little Acorn, a software and web development company they owned and operated in their spare time. Grant directly interacted with clients, managed project goals, and supervised external developer contractors.

Grant also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at When I Work, a scheduling SaaS product for the hourly workforce. Here, they designed and developed software in an agile environment and led a project on integrating a reporting microservice into the existing infrastructure.

Grant Stromgren completed their education at Western Governors University from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a focus on Databases. Prior to that, they attended Dunwoody College of Technology from 2006 to 2008 and earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. In addition to their formal education, Grant has obtained several certifications, including Oracle Database Administrator and Oracle SQL Expert from Oracle in December 2013, CompTIA Security+ in December 2011, and CompTIA A+ in April 2011. Grant also holds certifications such as CIW Database Design Specialist, CIW JavaScript Specialist, CIW Web Foundations Associate, and CompTIA Project+.
