Balazs Koncz

Balazs Koncz has extensive work experience in accounting and auditing. Balazs started their career at Deloitte Hungary as an Audit Assistant, where they assisted in audit procedures and performed tasks such as testing controls and creating substantive tests. Balazs then joined BDO Hungary as an Audit Assistant II, where they focused on auditing banks and financial organizations.

Koncz then transitioned to a role as an RTR Accountant at Tetra Pak, where they were responsible for general ledger processes. Balazs later joined Cognizant as a Senior GL Accountant, where they managed GL processes for Brazilian entities, handled reconciliations, and mentored a junior accountant. Balazs also worked on process transition and process improvement initiatives.

Following their time at Cognizant, Koncz joined Celanese as a Statutory Reporting and Audit Specialist. In this role, they prepared financial statements, participated in audit processes, and facilitated communication between auditors and internal departments. Balazs also supported the GL team in operative processes.

Currently, Koncz works at GRUNDFOS as a Lead Accountant, responsible for RtR (Record-to-Report) with an Audit Coordinator role.

Balazs Koncz attended Fazekas Mihály Gyakorló Általános Iskola és Gimnázium from 1999 to 2005, where they studied Mathematics. Balazs then went on to study Economics at Budapest Business University from 2005 to 2013.
