Eero Peltohaka

Eero Peltohaka is an accomplished Optics Design Engineer at Grundium since August 2022, specializing in imaging and illumination optics design and simulation using Zemax. Prior experience includes serving as an Optical Engineer at OptoFidelity from April 2018 to August 2022, focusing on VR/AR display testing, and starting as a Software Trainee at the same company, where Eero contributed to optical metrology equipment R&D and calibration. Eero has also held positions at Tampere University of Technology as a Course Assistant and Research Assistant in the Optoelectronics Research Center, with involvement in laser growth and measurement. Earlier roles include Auxiliary Supervisor at Teollisuuden Voima Oyj in radiation protection, various positions in property maintenance, and military service as a Cannoneer in the Weather Division of the Niinisalo Cannon Brigade. Eero holds a Master of Science in Science and Engineering (Photonics) from Tampere University of Technology, completed in 2019, and a Baccalaureate from Porin suomalaisen yhteislyseon lukio.
