Daniel Benavides

Daniel Benavides serves as the Global Sr. Finance Director at Grupo Bimbo since July 2011, overseeing finance operations and strategies across multiple regions, including a significant role in setting up the finance function for Bimbo Asia. Their extensive leadership includes transformation initiatives for Bimbo China, including the implementation of the "K2" project, and establishing the financial planning and analysis area. Daniel has also contributed to mergers and acquisitions, supply chain IT projects, and various research projects in electronic control systems and rescue robotics during earlier roles at Instituto Politécnico Nacional and The University of Electro-Communications. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, an exchange year focused on lean manufacturing and analytics, and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
