Fernando Maia

Fernando Maia has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Fernando has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. Fernando started their career at Eletronorte in 1984 as a Gerente, where they worked until 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they worked at ANEEL - Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica as an Assessor Diretor Geral. Following that, they joined Light as a Superintendente from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2010, they served as a Diretor at ABRADEE. In 2010, they joined Bench Consultoria as a Consultant, where they worked until 2016. Currently, they are working at Grupo Energisa, first as a Diretor de Regulação from 2016 to 2022, and currently holding the role of Vice Presidente de Regulação e Relações Institucionais.

From 1976 to 1980, Fernando Maia attended the Instituto Militar de Engenharia, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
