Miguel Barrios possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Grupo México since July 2015, where responsibilities include managing natural gas nominations, market reporting, and regulatory compliance. Previously, Miguel held roles including Strategic Industry Manager for Oil & Gas and Energy Supply Deputy Manager within the same company. Prior to Grupo México, Miguel worked at ACCIONA as a Control Room Operator, overseeing real-time operations in wind energy facilities, and at Wirtgen Group in post-sales support for construction machinery. Additionally, Miguel's early experience includes a production engineering role at DENSO focusing on assembly line modifications and process efficiency. Miguel holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Management Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
