George Ramos has over 23 years of work experience in various procurement and management roles. George is currently serving as the Procurement Director at Grupo Petrópolis, where they have successfully developed and implemented a Strategic Procurement Plan, resulting in significant cost reductions for key materials. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Indirect Procurement at ZF Friedrichshafen, where they led the Indirect Sourcing organization and delivered tangible bottom-line contributions through savings and improvement in payment terms. George also has experience as a Procurement Manager at Unilever, where they developed procurement strategies and delivered annual savings through effective negotiation and supplier management. Additionally, George has worked as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Unilever, where they were responsible for leading a team and achieving significant reductions in factory downtime and maintenance costs. George began their career as a Project and Maintenance Engineer at Mars.
George Ramos completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 1992 to 1996. George later pursued an MBA at Fundação Dom Cabral from 2009 to 2010.
