Gonzalo Venegas

Gonzalo Venegas has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Subgerente Generación at Grupo Saesa since April 2015, with previous roles including Subgerente de Ingeniería y Generación, Gerente Zonal, and Jefe de Generación. Prior to this, Gonzalo worked at Duke Energy Corporation from November 2010 to March 2015 in various engineering roles, including Ingeniero Mercado Eléctrico and Ingeniero en Control de Operaciones. Gonzalo's career also includes experience as Ingeniero de Mantenimiento y Calidad de Servicio at Empresas Emel Norte S.A. from February 2008 to November 2010 and as Ingeniero de Estudios y Calidad de Suministro at Emelectric S.A. from July 2005 to February 2008. Gonzalo holds a degree in Ingeniero Civil Eléctrico with a focus on Potencias from Universidad de Concepción, obtained between 1996 and 2004.
