Russell Wyman is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at GruupMeet, Inc. Russell is dedicated to expanding his expertise in event services and has a proven history of attracting and retaining customers through his entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

Russell began his career in event services in 2006 as a summer intern for a Destination Management Company (DMC) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This experience ignited his passion for the industry, ultimately leading to the creation of GruupMeet.

In 2014, Russell founded GruupMeet to streamline logistics and communication systems that enhance strategic meetings and event experiences. He is recognized for pioneering the "Event Comms" technology space within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.

With over 18 years of experience, he has provided event services and tech solutions to innovative enterprises and emerging brands. Under his leadership, GruupMeet has gained support from Tech Wildcatters, a nationally recognized accelerator by “Forbes” and “Inc. Magazine,” which has helped enhance its product design and architecture. Additionally, Russell secured "Series A" equity funding from the founders of MetroPCS to further develop GruupMeet. The company has been recognized as one of “Dallas’ Hottest Startups” for three consecutive years and has received numerous industry accolades.
