Sim Salzman, CPA

Sim Salzman, CPA has over 19 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Sim started their career as Auditor at Reznick Group in 2002, where they were responsible for planning, oversight, performance, and review of real estate audit engagements. Sim then worked at McGladrey as a Senior Auditor from 2005 to 2008, where they developed and prepared risk assessments for various engagements. Sim later joined BDO USA, LLP, where they served as a Senior Auditor and Representative client list included construction firms, hospitality, management, nonprofit, and gaming industries. In 2010, they joined The Light Group as Corporate Controller and managed the financial and accounting functions for one of the country's leading hospitality development and management companies. Sim worked for Wendoh Media as a Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2018 and led new initiatives to maximize revenue potential. Sim later served as a Chief Financial Officer at Las Vegas Monorail Company from 2018 to 2020, where they were responsible for all financial aspects of the entity, including but not limited to daily cash flow reporting, annual budget preparation, and monthly reporting. Sim worked for Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. from 2020 to 2023 as Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer, where they reviewed monthly financial statements, prepared quarterly and annual public filings, developed and implemented financial strategies, among others. Currently, they are slated to join Gryphon Digital Mining in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.

Sim Salzman, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland from 1998 to 2002. Sim later obtained a certification for Certified Public Accountant from the Maryland Board of Public Accountancy in February 2015.
