Bob Vuppal

Bob Vuppal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital commerce, supply chain management, and e-commerce strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Business Solutions - Digital Commerce & Foodservice at GS1 Canada since January 2022, Bob leads digital transformation initiatives across retail and foodservice sectors, focusing on the adoption of GS1 standards. Prior to this role, Bob held key positions including Director of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing at Gesco Group of Companies and Strategic Sourcing roles at The Home Depot Canada. Bob's entrepreneurial background includes owning a creative consulting firm, alongside previous management roles in logistics and transportation for major retailers such as Walmart. Bob holds a B.Eng from Ryerson University, a Master's in Logistics from MITx, and multiple qualifications in machine learning and process engineering.
